Sushi

According to renowned Japanese chef Hiroko Shimbo, sushi comes in six types.

They are:
  • Chirazizushi (scattered);
  • Inarizushi (pouch of fried tofu, and no fish in the filling);
  • Makizushi (rolled);
  • Narezushi (fermented, eaten without rice);
  • Nigirizushi (hand-pressed);
  • Oshizushi (squared, triangle, or oblong).
