After 37 BC, an irrigation system was built (12 water tanks were carved into the rock), the construction of the western palace began, and three smaller palaces, storehouses and barracks were built. The fortress was fortified with three towers at the southern end of the plateau.
In 25 BC, the northern palace, food warehouses, baths and a new wing of the western palace were built.
In 15 BC, the entire top of the mountain was surrounded by a white stone wall 5 to 6.5 meters high, and the Western Palace was also completed. On the perimeter of the wall there were 37 towers with a height of 27 meters. The perimeter of the wall was 1400 meters, and the thickness was 4 meters.
