Lycée Janson-de-Sailly has graduated many French and foreign politicians, including French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing, Lennart Meri - President of Estonia, and Mohammed Zahir Shah - King of Afghanistan.

Nobel laureates have also graduated from the school:

  • Jean Baptiste Perrin - winner of the 1926 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the discontinuous structure of matter,
  • Roger Martin du Gard - winner of the 1937 Nobel Prize in Literature.
