In addition to Lake Victoria, one of the largest lakes in the world, these lakes include:

  • Kioga - with an area of 1216 square kilometers and a depth of only three meters
  • Alberta - with an area of 5600 square kilometers and a maximum depth of 58 m, the water table is located at an altitude of 619 m above sea level.
  • Edwarda - with an area of 2150 square kilometers
  • Jerzy - with an area of 470 square kilometers
