Florida’s climate is humid and tropical. During Summer, the temperatures can reach 38 degrees Celsius, and they drop to 4-7 degrees Celsius during winter.

The waters surrounding the peninsula act as a heat buffer, tampering with the climate. The highest temperature was recorded on 29th June 1931, in Monticello, when it reached 43 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature, - 19 degrees Celsius, was recorded on 13th February 1899, in Tallahassee.
